The Hotel

The intention of the artist was to create a unity involving all the spaces of this architectural project. Starting from the idea of “contamination” Alain Bony has intervened the walls in order to invade the space with the ambiance conveyed by the cinematographic images chosen by the architect Jean Nouvel to decorate the ceiling of each of the rooms.

With this in mind, the artist created visual effects by punctuations of illusory light with a choice of different soft shades which followed the chromatic characteristics of the images. This way, each room was specifically treated to express the essence of the movie scene selected.
