Expo 02
With inspiration to create a perception of fake old, the exterior painting for the theatre of the expo was aiming to evoke the traditional Bedouin tent one could find in the middle of the desert and which might have been there in the open for a long time. The intervention of the tent intended to convey a sense of hospitality and shelter.
The same idea was taken to choose the colour palette in shades of ocher, warm colours for the camouflage mesh netting which covered the market at the exposition, allowing natural light mysterious effects.
