Gallo-Roman Museum
Alain Bony took up the shapes of the ruins kept in the museum and the passways to visit it, reinterpreted and reproduced them on the ceiling. The idea was to express awareness of geometrical notions and be able to read the architectural plan of the building as one looked up, in an attempt to make evident the physical presence of an architectural thought as well as to highlight the importance of the ruins exposed. The choice of colours aimed to go back to classic, to simplicity, giving special protagonism to the three primary colours.
