Danish Radio Concert House

Taking as inspiration the architect’s reference to the evening sky on Edvard Munch’s painting “The Scream”, the intervention aimed to create a reinterpretation of it while highlighting the undulating walls and the cantilevered balconies of the concert hall. This was achieved by the creation of effects like stains of different warm colour shades giving the illusion of relief and movement.

The collision between the ideas of architect Jean Nouvel and the artistic feeling of artist Alain Bony, who has a fascination for the potential of the illusory nature of the coloured surface, results in the conception of a unique concert hall.
