
Parc Poblenou
The idea of Alain Bony was to create unity between the context and Nouvel’s architectural intervention and the way to achieve it was blurring the limits of where the building finished and the nature began.
With inspiration from the work of Jackson Pollock, a pattern was created on the pavement using the technique of “dripping”, taking the colours of plants and flowers surrounding the passageway and making the latter interact with nature to a point where you could no longer tell one from the other.
