Granit Theater

This was the first real collaboration of Alain Bony with architect Jean Nouvel and also with the participation of the American decorator Gary Glaser, who contributed with his sketches. The main idea of the intervention was to give a more drastic and contemporary reinterpretation to ancient decorative techniques of imitating materials and textures like stone, marble and onyx.

The ceiling was also intervened with golden leaves disposed in a more innovative way to generate meaning by the contraposition of new and old techniques coexisting in the same space.
